Gabi
Braun

Gabi was the best Warrior candidate of her generation and the truest believer Marley ever produced. At twelve she crawled out of a trench at Fort Slava without her armband and blew an armored train off its tracks, and she did it to prove that Eldians like her were the good ones, worthy of the armband she treated as a badge instead of a brand. Reiner, her cousin, saw his own childhood in her and quietly hoped Falco would beat her to the Armor so she could live.

When Eren's raid killed her friends Zofia and Udo, Gabi chased the escaping airship on foot, shot a Scout off its ladder, climbed the dangling wire, and put a bullet through Sasha Braus before being wrestled down. Captivity on Paradis took her certainties apart one at a time. She escaped with Falco, was sheltered by the family of the woman she had killed, and watched Kaya, a girl her own age, describe listening to her mother be eaten alive by a Titan Marley sent. The armband logic could not survive contact with the people it condemned, and she finally said the conclusion out loud: there were no devils on the island, just people.

What never changed was the marksmanship. She took Eren's head off his Titan with an anti-Titan rifle at Shiganshina, the shot that sent it into Zeke's waiting hand. At the port she shot Floch off his Thunder Spear an instant before he could destroy the flying boat, and at the last battle she made the headshot that helped free Armin from the okapi Titan. She found her parents alive at Fort Salta, with Falco beside her and the war finally over.
