Falco
Grice

Falco competed for the Armored Titan for the strangest reason in the Warrior program: he wanted to win so the girl he loved would lose. Inheriting a Titan means dying in thirteen years, and Falco wanted that sentence for himself instead of Gabi. His family's real position was worse than she knew, since his uncle had been an Eldian Restorationist, and the brothers Grice served Marley to keep the family safe. His kindness was his undoing. He befriended a maimed veteran called Mr. Kruger, mailed his letters, and ran his errands, and the man turned out to be Eren Jaeger setting up the attack on Liberio through him.

He followed Gabi onto the Scouts' airship to protect her and fell with her into captivity on Paradis. A splash of tainted wine put Zeke's spinal fluid in his blood, and when Zeke screamed at Shiganshina, Falco turned. His brother Colt refused to let go of him and burned to death in the transformation. As a mindless Titan he nearly killed Reiner before Porco offered himself in Reiner's place, and by eating Porco, Falco woke with the Jaw Titan, plus something extra: because his Titan came through Zeke's fluid, it carried a trace of the Beast line, and Falco dreamed of flying.

He made the dream real when it counted, working out a winged form of the Jaw and carrying the alliance onto the Founding Titan's back at the final battle after their flying boat was spent. He had already told Gabi he loved her, on a night he believed he was about to die. He survived the end of the Titans, an ordinary boy at last, with the years the Jaw would have taken handed back to him.
